Rated 5 out of 5??by Vitin Best Lawnmower Ever!
Personal Pace is the best thing that has been created for the lawnmower industry, easy to learn and handle. The Spin Stop is another wonderful feature which helps you a lot whenever you are mowing your grass and has to stop for any reason, the engine stays on while the blade stops moving. The only thing that I am not too happy about is that there is no oil drain plug underneath the mower, but you have to turn the mower on the side in order to drain the machine. Easy to clean; It also has an electric button to turn the machine off after you are done mowing. Also, I think it's easier to turn the machine on for at least five minutes every week than to drain the oil and the fuel to store the machine during the winter time. Good machine! I hope it last many many years!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5??by KJL99 Awesome mower -- works perfectly
This mower is the perfect fit for cutting our lawn. It's quick and easy with the pacing feature. The only glitch was the front wheel placement. For some dumb reason, the wheels were put on wrong. When we switched them around, everything worked fine. But I ask you, who does that? And wouldn't quality control catch such an obvious error in assembly? Oh well, problem corrected and bottom line, it works great!

Rated 5 out of 5??by Mike61 This is by far the best mower I have ever owned
This mower does a fabulous job. It starts with 1 pull every time and runs beautifully. I actually look forward to mowing because it does such a great job and is so dependable and so very easy to use. We just love this mower!

Rated 2 out of 5??by hoppster Thought I was buying a Toro
Purchased this mower back in August of 2012 and used it part of that summer and to date. This summer the motor is belching out a blue cloud of smoke when I start it for the first time. This does not give me a positive feeling about the longevity of this motor or the mower.
Out to lunch on the brand as of now....

Rated 5 out of 5??by Ron42 Very easy to operate.
When I got the mower home and went to use it the engine started on one pull. However, when I tried to engage the blade the engine died. Tried a few times and finally took it back to the dealer. They found the clutch shield was not installed properly at the factory. The dealer fixed the problem. Went home and mowed the lawn. Very satisfied with the mower.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Jebdog33 Excellent features, i.e. blade stop, guarantee start, stop button, easy bag
This mower has all the features necessary for handling residetntial yards. Easy start; stop blade eliminates re-starting engine when stopping to empty bag, picking up objects, etc. Easy switch from bagging to mulching to side discharge. On/off switch and one or two pulls start engine. Personal pace allows for mowing at one's walk speed. The only drawback thus far is difficulty in manuevering mower in tight space and turning due to mower weight.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Backintheburbs Excellent so far
I have used Toro products for the last 30 + years and they have proven durable and reliable ( in fact the original Toro lawn mower is still running ).
This model handles well and the cuts great. The Personal Pace feature is great but the Spin Stop is the best. Often times I have to stop and move things or pick up branches and the fact that I don't have to pull start the mower every incident is a time saver and aggravation eliminator.
The one draw back is that it takes two pulls to start the engine when its cold.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Jack47 Great Lawn Mower
My wife and I love this lawn mower. The ease of starting is awesome. One pull and it starts. The bagger does a very good job and keeps the lawn clean looking. We really love the clean out port.
The Personal Pace is great. It doesn't go too fast or too slow.
Great lawn mower!!

We sold mowers in a our hardware store and bought a comparable Toro. We used it for 15 years. It was a great mower so we replaced it with the new Toro.

This lawnmower performed great. Easy start, easy to mow edges and around landscape. Personal pace feature was great, but my hands got a little sore.

Rated 4 out of 5??by HRKC Powerful and does a great job cutting.
I have a zoysia lawn. I cut it at 1" and this mower does an outstanding job. I needed something that could handle it and it measures up to the task. I don't mulch and the bag is very easy to remove and put back on the mower.
My only complaint is that it's hard to continue to hold the handle down while mowing.

Bogs down or shuts off when cutting grass. I have been using in mulch mode.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Artyjoe42 Personal Pace is why I chose this mower.
This is the third Toro I've had and I still think their Personal Pace self propel is what distinguishes the Toro from other brands.
However, I think my old 20+ year Toro was superior in the way the Personal Pace is controlled. 'The speed of the old self propel was controlled by squeezing the control bar - the tighter you squeeze, the faster it went. The new one is controlled by pushing the control bar which is less convenient if you're not directly behind the mower when turning around or mowing around obstacles.
The Bag On Demand and wash out port is superior to my old mower, but it's not a big deal for me since I never bag my clippings.
The Toro OHV engine is another reason I bought Toro again . The previous mower (with a Toro GTS OHV engine) was still starting with one or two pulls after 20+ years, and it had a lot of hours on it because at one time it was used to mow a 10,000 sq. ft. lot 2-3 times a week - so much that the tires have been bald for the last 15 years.

I love the Personal Pace technology. Finally a mower that can keep up with me. Also very maneuverable and easy to pull backwards when using to trim. I highly recommend this mower.

Easy start; I like the blade stop feature. Ease to switch from bagging to mulch.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Bruce28 Difficult for Shorter People to Start
The handle height is too high for shorter people to easily start the mower. Weight is also an issue when the mower has to be backed up without the self propel feature. The mower does a wonderful job but is an issue if operated by shorter people, older people and possibly females.

I was happy enough with this mower, I bought one for my son-in-law as a house warming gift. I also have a Toro snow blower that is excellent. Toro makes some great products.

This is my second Personal Pace mower. The first one lasted Many years and I was so pleased with the overall performance and quality of Toro lawn mower that I would Not buy any other brand. Ease of use, quality of product, dependability and performance are All important to me and the Toro has all of them.
Perfect for my yard size and terrain.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Amrick99 Reliable and easy to use
This machine does every thing that the manufacturer claims. Have not had issues with it. Starts every time on the first pull.
The only con is the control cables that protrude beyond the body of the mower. Cutting up against fencing and walls causes abrasion of the cable cover and premature wear. When cutting against wall have to make sure to use the side without the cables.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Fud501 Best mower ever.
No mower could be easier to use. You can go from bag, to mulch, to side discharge in seconds. It will go as fast or slow as you want, unlike most walk behinds that make you jog to keep up.

This is not a bad lawn mower. It comes witha bag catcher. Tends to stall alot when in the mulching position. Very easy to start. Overall, I like it.

Rated 2 out of 5??by BaggerDutch Not like the old ones
I had to replace my 30-year old Toro, so I went with a Toro again. I wish I hadn't. While it is very easy to start and mows easily through tall grass, that's about it. I use it mostly around the pool where I do not want clippings getting into it. The bagging is horrible. The "automatic" door that let's you switch from bag to mulch doesn't close completely, allowing clippings to blow all around the mower while bagging. And emptying the bag is the most cumbersome task I've seen. You have to reach under a cable, lift a chute, hold it up, lift the bag, drop the bag to the ground, reach behind the mower to get it, It's absurd. Plus the bag itself is flimsy. The mower also has a lot of plastic, including the wheels, and I have my doubts as to how it will hold up. I've only used it about 4 hours, and am totally disappointed. I also wish the engine speed was adjustable.

This mower is the best piece of yard equipment I have ever purchased. The ease of starting it and the pace feature is outstanding. Even my wife is enjoying mowing, she can start with no more the 2 pulls.
I would recommend this mower to anyone!

This is the first new mower I have ever purchased, always came across a 2-3 year old one when mine was about to die. Itruns greats and starts as promised. The personal pace is a nice feature. I never use the "wash out spout" built into the deck. Look forward to many years of use

Rated 4 out of 5??by Grandma73 22" (56 cm) Personal Pace spin stop (20373)
The reason I rated the quality fair is because I am a woman 73 years old and around 5'3" tall and 120 lbs and the handle is too high to be comfortable. I have to wear wrist supports when I mow otherwise my hands really hurt. Don't know if there is a remendy for this but otherwise I am very pleased with my toro, I have a old toro that is probably over 20 years old and still runs and it was and is very easy for me to use but it was getting pretty well worn and the self propel didn't won't to go very well so that is why I bought the new one. Guess my final comment would be is that not only men mow yard, so try to remember women when you build. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5??by tim81 Excellent, Dependable Mower
This mower has been everything I expect from a TORO. The Spin Stop, Personal Pace, and Bag on Demand features all work flawlessly and save much needed time. Since purchase, the engine has never required more than I pull to start.

Not up to the standards I expect from Toro based on previous experience. Mower is hard to pull back and operate in any mode other than going forward.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Vike This product is a work horse and is easy to operate.
I purchased the Toro model 20373 to replace a Toro with similar features purchased twenty years ago. It is satisfactory in every way. It is easy to start, has a smooth and powerful engine that never hesitates and gives my lawn the manicured look I want. The Spin Stop feature is particularly nice, as it saves time and the effort needed to restart the engine. I am very satisfied with my new Toro.

Rated 5 out of 5??by bud08 One of the best on the market
I have a large lawn and should run a rider but like to walk so I really abuse the little mowers. Takes about 1.5-2 tanks to do the job in thick grass. My previous Super Recycler lasted 12 years and finally started surging and blowing smoke. This new one is going into its 2nd summer. Great starting. Good balance but not as good as the old ones...a little front-heavy. Wheel support brackets seem like a weak design done for cost. Rinse port actually works! Noise and cutting performance are both excellent. Ergos are great. Not sure how long the mulch/bag diverter will work. The old Super Recycler with the insertable plug was much better.
