Rated 4 out of 5??by Murray Size Makes a Difference
This mower is one of the few in the 30" deck size. Great for lawns that are too big for the 22" mower and too small for the ride 42". It is a little underpowered for the drive function. I wish there was a little more torque for walking uphill. The engine starts great on the first pull every time. Had a problem develop after 9 months where the personal pace cable seized and broke the plastic holder at the handle.

Rated 5 out of 5??by michael54 I love it!
I purchased this with some trepidation after reading reviews panning the fuel consumption, starting the machine when hot, traction and actual cutting capabilities. All of these issues are not issues at all. I use LESS fuel as it takes about half the time to cut my lawn. It starts with no problem, even when hot. The machine cuts my grass, even if it's relatively long. I have hills that present no problem. It just does everything well. It was a bit expensive, but with any luck, this will be the last machine that I purchase!

Rated 3 out of 5??by Bill2015 Disappointment
I am familiar with Toro overall quality, and this is the primary reason that I purchased the TimeMaster. My hope was the the 30" cut would reduce law maintenance time, but unfortunately the mower is not well designed for lawns with slopes. It is a challenge to push the mower up a hill (not large), and this is a major disappointment, as the promotional videos would suggest otherwise.
I have had the mower for a little under 3 months, and as I was cutting the lawn this afternoon, I noticed that it was becoming more difficult to push. Much to my dismay, I noticed a belt in the lawn under my feet. It is the drive belt that powers the self-propel feature of the mower.
I hope the experience that I am about to encounter with customer support will expedite the repair of the unit.

Rated 4 out of 5??by IndianaLogan Love the 30" cut
Have a new build lot, ~0.5 acre to cut, front is sod, back is mostly weeds. Does a great job cutting it all, but misses some of the tougher weeds in the back. (To be fair, I usually let them get far too tall....)
I have also noticed that if the grass is wetter, clippings can build up, causing the mower to stall. This happens when set up for mulching. If I hear it starting to stall, wiping the clippings out takes care of the problem with little effort.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Marcinminn Really does save time
The Timemaster really does save us time. It's wide deck reduced the number of passes we need to make in our yard. it mulches nicely ad cuts well. starts easy every time. The personal pace system makes it go at just the right speed. the bladestop keeps the motor running when i need to move debris.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Dunnburger Awesome mower!!
i was a little hesitant at first because of the price tag, but am so glad i bought it. Ease of use, easy start, super smooth mower that cuts great! The engine is powerful and smooth. Might be the last mower I will ever have to buy. Because of its size it literally cut my time in 1/2. I now look forward to mowing knowing that its not going to take as long as it used to. Also my lawn looks much better!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5??by Shook This mower is very efficient
Very Smooth to operate. Only issue I have with this model is that it does not have the fuel capacity. To finish my yard in one tank would be nice seeing it is less than half an acre.

Rated 5 out of 5??by KenHut Top Notch Mower so far
The mower is hands down the best i've ever owned so far. My yard looks great. The self-propel (once you get used to it) is great. I have had self propelled mowers in the past but this mower really lives up to the self propelled name. All you literally have to do is walk along behind it, no need to push at all, even up steep grades. I also like the fact that you can release and stop the blades which leaves the motor running and walk away, then come back to it and not have to restart the mower to continue mowing.
