Rated 5 out of 5??by Will2014 Excellent cut
Had this mower for one season and it produces an excellent cut on my Bermuda grass. Starts up every time without any difficulty pulling the cord. I have 15000 sq ft of grass to cut and it took me about an hour. The Toro 30" mower cuts my time by 15-20 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5??by GrassFan Great mower, great leaf vac, just don't cut high, wet grass
Some TimeMasters have been recalled for breaking blades. Do a search if you have one.
I was initially frustrated by this mower's inability to handle tall or wet grass (either mulching or side discharge). It's a 30" mower with a 21" motor. But it starts easily hot or cold, so I kept it. I use pure gas without any ethanol. Do a search to find that, it's worth it. When I mow frequently, it flies and really does save time. I like the speed control a lot.
In November I tried it on leaves. It rocks as a leaf vac! Bag fills almost immediately, so you have to dump it often, but it just mulches the leaves when the bag is full. The bag comes off and remounts very easily. Leaves are chopped but not as fine as a leaf vac. I am buying another bag so my wife can dump one while I fill the other. We chopped and piled our leaves faster than any other machine we have used.
In short, great mower, but you have to respect its lack of power and work with that.

Rated 1 out of 5??by Campbellean Been in the shop more than I've used it.
I was very excited to get this mower after moving to a new house with a little over an acre. However, it's been in the shop more than I've been able to use it since I got it last March.
The 30' blade is great and the maneuverability is good for a larger mower. However, I just can't seem to keep it working. Too bad, now I'm stuck with it. Wish I could trade it in b/c I paid too much for it to just get rid of it.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Arborman When a 21" is too little and a 36" is too big
From what I've read there are so many people that if only they had read the manual, they'd have had a completely different experience. Not to mention a perfect rating.
I run a professional landscape business and decided to go with this mower over their commercial version. I am greatly satisfied with my decision.
I needed something that could cut mowing time almost in half (over our Toro 21") and that could fit, maneuver, and not tear up the turf while doing it. Bam! TimeMaster!
To all those saying the hose cleaning system doesn't work: The deck hose cleaning system works great if you follow the instructions. Lower the mower and turn the blades on while running the water.
It has plenty of power. Does perfectly fine on most any terrain(it has power, do you?). Most of what I read that is negative about this mower is due to user error and inexperience. Plenty of power and keeps up with our much more expensive larger mowers. No reason not to love what this mower can do!

Rated 5 out of 5??by IrishFan Best Mower I've Used
I've used a lot of lawn mowers in my time, and this ranks up there as the best. I bought it early in the season, and have used it routinely 1-2 times a week. I love it as much at the end of the season as I did at the beginning. Easy to start, operate, clean. If you are looking for a new mower, this is the one.

Rated 5 out of 5??by RickL Does all I need it to do, especially reducing the amount of trimming I have to do.
Great cut. Mulching is great even when I cut high grass. Quite durable so far altho engine sounds like it is struggling when putting it in gear for cutting.
Nitnoy stuff -- Not to good a hose connection and changing the oil is a bit messy if you are not careful. I can live with these problems.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Trashman55 This mower is everything it's cracked up to be and more.
I'm a 58 year old, somewhat disabled man who bailed out of a zero-turn rider because using that, despite it's manueverability still had me firing up a 21" walk behind. I spend less time caring for my lawn; use less space in my garage; get a superior cut and appearance; really don't expend anymore effort; and simply cannot believe that this concept - a twin-blade, residential walk-behind that's not trying to mimic a commercial walk-behind, but is giving a lot of homeowners just what we need, is the only choice in the market. Admittedly, if there were a choice, I can't believe I'd buy anything other than this Toro. I just cannot find fault with it, having used it an entire season.

I bought this walk behind for my 1.22 acre so my wife or I could get in a good walk. I do like the 30" cutting area. The self pace propelled feature is nice. What I don't like is the belt having to be replaced after 6 to 8 times just after we bought it. It had to go back in after about 8 uses this season. It needed a belt again as well as another component that has to do with turning the belt that drives the blades.
