Rated 5 out of 5??by Bruce1 Mower Works Well
I live in Florida so mowing grass is a year round chore. It took me a few tries before I got the handle of this mower. I upgraded from a Toro 21??? with a Honda Engine. The engine has plenty of power to push through six inches of St. Augustine grass, and the bag holds quite a bit of clippings. I have had no problems with the engine not starting as some have said in other posts. It is big, and don???t assume you can push this mower without the self-propel, that is not happening. The Self-propel will go as fast as you can walk. Overall very happy with this mower, and the guy next store will wish that he had one.

Rated 2 out of 5??by Ironbear Great machine when it starts
I have owned this machine for only about 7 months and have only used it 2 times, then ran it out of fuel, did everything recommended for storage and went to bring it back to life What a disappointment, Toro very unsatisfied at this point.

Rated 4 out of 5??by ScooterInMinn Seems like a very good machine, but only used once
Purchased late in the fall so only used once and then it snowed the next day. Since I was prompted for a review when I registered I thought I'd give my initial thoughts. First, the gas tank is WAY too small. I ran out 2/3 of the way through my 0.3 acre lawn. I never ran out of gas with my 22" mower, so running to get the gas can cuts into the 40% savings in time Toro claims with this mower. I don't have a system down yet with my fenced yard and I was fiddling with deck height while it was running, but I'm fairly certain I still would have run out of gas. The self-propel drive is a little too sensitive. I got better at using it, but there was a lot of acceleration/deceleration with the slightest movement of the handle over the small bumps in my lawn. Finally, I'm not sure yet of the use of the traction assist handle. I did not use it at all and it kept pinching my thumbs between it and the self-propel drive handle. Despite these thing, I still loved using it and have no regrets.

Rated 1 out of 5??by JamesD This would be a fine machine if I could keep it out of the repair shop.
I have had the 20200 for 18 months and it has been back for repair at least 10 times already. I use the lowest ethanol yet the carb needed replacement after about 2 months. The first time I used it after that repair white smoke poured out and I thought it had burned a piston or dropped a valve. I was told that was normal and it did not happen again. However, it had tremendous run-on and back firing after being used. It frequently will not start and each time there is a different excuse (2 spark plugs replaced, carb cleaning, etc). Now the cable to engage the blades has snapped and I have been unable to cut my grass more than 3-4 times before it goes back to the shop for repairs. The two year warranty is coming to a close and I may be stuck with a very unreliable machine. Too bad, I really like it when it is working.

Rated 5 out of 5??by RichieK Great time saver
Have used this for one entire season. The name is appropriate, as it saves a lot of time versus the 22" Toro Personal Pace from which I upgraded. I did not have to plug the charger in one time all season and it started right away after winter storage (which is a long time here in Minnesota).
Overall satisfied, but I am disappointed with the wash-out port. It is basically worthless in my opinion. The belt from the transmission came off late this season, but the local dealer reinstalled it at no charge to me.
The folding handle is a breeze to use and a real space saver. This 30" mower takes up less storage space than my previous 22" mower simply because of the easy fold handle.

Rated 4 out of 5??by IronMug All around value
Using this to mow, mulch, and pick-up near an acre.
- slightly under powered but enough for the job
- self-paced drive is not as active as models, requires a bit more energy from the user to push it along
- Doesn't suck as much as I'd like, tends to spit debris a bit
- Start key protrudes upward making it susceptible to breakage
- Gas tank is too small and the fuel efficiency is poor but expected
- There is a blue handle-hold that is in the way in its current configuration (pointing toward mower). It should point toward user - pinches fingers if you're not careful.
- Very convenient attachments - mulching plug and a side shute.
- nice handle feature to go straight upright or all the way over the mower base using a lever.
- Starts every time, performs well.
- 30-inch base is a nice time-saver
- cuts well.

Rated 1 out of 5??by SDC12345 Do not buy this product
All around Terrible mower. Terrible Dependability. My mower has been repaired 4 times in less than 4 months. Terrible cut quality my 20 year old mower cuts better than the time master. It takes multiple passes to cut your grass even to a passable level. Time waster is a better term. This product is junk. Toro has not stood behind their product. Definitely not an upgrade for a 20 year old mower. Save yourself the money and purchase something different.
