I have owned my Toro trimmer for five years and it has done everything I have asked of it without fail. I highly recommend it for light home use.

This is my 3rd Toro, & I appreciate each one lasting at least 5 years. The ease of the bump feed, the powerful motor with a fast RPM makes a chore easier to tackle. The cap is always easy to remove, and the spool has ridges to help keep the trimmer line straight as I hand -rewind. 3 swipes with a sharpener keeps the line cutter performing year after year!
Grateful that Toro has not gone to the Auto Feed craze - this will keep me a loyal customer for years to come.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Gandi It gets the job done
It gets the job done dependably on small to medium size lawns. Larger acreages will likely need a gas trimmer, but for standard size city lots this one will suffice. The only problem I have found with the model 51346 is the unattached (loose) line eyelet which is very small, black, and frequently gets lost somewhere on the lawn . It would be a good idea to stock up on a few of these from your local dealer to save yourself some aggravation !

This trimmer is a good value entry-level model. Works great on grass and small weeds. This model will go through a lot of line (.65 line) when used on thicker weeds and when grass or weeds are up against a fence or rocks.

It is a well balanced tool that allows easy swings. It's weight is such that one does not get tired easily when using on hills and grades.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Rougo Excellent Product
This is the second one I own and I'd not buy any other brand. It's especially light weight. Replacement cord spool is inexpensive and easy to install. I have very little problem if the line breaks and I have to remove the spool to bring out more line. That happens very infrequently.
