Rated 4 out of 5??by Kurt I like it except for
I like the lawn mower a lot. Great power and ease of starting make it a hit with me. However, what keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the awkward grass catcher bag, which is difficult to empty into a yard waste bag. Also, when using the grass catcher, it is important that you do not overfill the catcher since the contents will spill out when you attempt to remover the catcher from the mower. So, you need to pay attention. Otherwise, I love the machine.

Rated 4 out of 5??by lewood mfg 2011 old but a briggs & Str. ans lawnboy assist forward
bought new last month even though I new it was manf in 2011
but the engine Briggs & Str was on this, No on the new.
The engine started on the very first pull!!
Now this is a Toro but I also have a three year old Lawnboy
That is lighter but looks the same. The Toro has an electric
start but we have not used, because there was no charger included as outlined in our manual. But Toro did send us one!
The Toro is definitely heavier to control. we got a 20"s for
my wife to use. This is all history because there are very few
2011 models available. I probably will take the battery to
make it lighter. Also believe the engine on the Toro is larger which can power thru thicker stuff. good luck.

Rated 4 out of 5??by dorie76 good solid piece of equipment
I've used the mower two times so far. I had two shoulder replacements so needed electric start. Easy to handle, mulches finely. The only problem is regulating the speed because it requires my hand to be flexed sharply to reach the bar. Taking off the mulch bag requires learning the tricks to do it. Bear in mind I don't have full range of my shoulders.

Rated 3 out of 5??by bird33 little issues
I love this simple, lightweight mower. However, I used it twice and forgot to plug it in so I pull started it - recoil broke. Then I folded down the handle and the knob cracked. Finally, the wheels are almost smooth from one summer? Small issues - but annoying on a new mower.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Robert16 Some design drawbacks!
I find that the use of the mower is as expected, excellent. However, I have three negative design issues: 1.The recharging cord is much too short with an older home and few garage outlets; 2. Neither the charger nor battery have an indicator as to when the battery is fully charged; and, 3. Changing the oil is a real task without a full workshop set up and having to tip the heavy mower on its side where a bottom drain valve or plug would be much easier (specially if you are close to 80, as I am).

Rated 4 out of 5??by JJRBc6642 Mower runs smooth and cuts well
I bought this mower in June of 2013 and it hasa been a good investment. It is lighter than other mowers and manuevers well around shrubs and trees. The electric start is an added benefit that makes operation simple.
The bag could be a bit larger but the overall performance is what I expected from a Toro model.

I love the mower, there is only one problem, when the grass is being transfered into the bag it plugs there very easy. Other than that I love the mower.

Rated 4 out of 5??by L08y The electric start feature is exactly what I wanted.
I love the electic start feature. It was well worth the extra money. Trying to start a pull cord type mower tired me before I actually began the mowing itself. Now I finish mowing with much more energy left for trimming etc.
