Rated 1 out of 5??by DrKev Get a rake!
This product doesn't blow hard enough to move a single wet leaf. And the vacuum part gets stuck every 2 minutes so you have to take it apart to remove debris. I got 10 times more done in a quarter of the time using a rake. Definitely not worth buying.

Rated 2 out of 5??by Jimo Defective switch
The blower itself is very good, excellent power blowing leaves or vacuuming into bag. But the rotating switch went flaky shortly after purchasing. I would turn the dial to off position, the blower would turn off, then start up again on its own even with the dial at the 0 position. The speed control was not responsive to the dial, it essentially became on-off, and then quit just as the leaf season began. Won't turn on at all now. I took cover off, all wiring connections remain intact, likely just a defective component.

Rated 5 out of 5??by DooWop Best blower-Vac I have ever owned,3 owned
Have about 2 acres of yard surounded by 3 acres of trees, mostly Pin Oaks, Maples and Pecans plenty of leaves, used new blower-vac about 4 hours yesterday, loved it. Only fault was with tube latches moderatly difficult too use and bag may be tearing at attachment end. Am 78 years young and found tool easy too use, lightest I have owned.

Rated 2 out of 5??by David1643 Need better quality control.
I purchased on of these vacs many years ago. I worked great for 6 years. I purchased another one when the old one finally died. I moved to Florida. Hardly had any yard at all, had a lawn service. The second one lasted two years. The bag zipper came apart and could not put it back together. The blower at least worked but it died after two years. Moved to Georgia and bought another one in October 2012. October 2013 the vacuum works but the bag is falling apart. Zipper came apart, and the seams on the bag are coming loose.Toro use to have good quality control but profit dictated the need to make their products cheaper.

Rated 3 out of 5??by Schoob Great features but bag zipper broke within one year and less then 20 uses.
Like many features of the blower/vac - but bag zipper both breaking and the zipper ripping away from bag within one year of purchase is not good.

Rated 2 out of 5??by OpaJim62 easy use of emptying the bag to a plastic bag
I used a older model for about 10 years and it was simply. In a example: For emptying the bag has the zipper was on the bottom. I transferred the leaves to plastic bags and then to disposed to a dump. If the vacuum pipe was plugged it was simply to remove it and replace.
Now the new, better model has a zipper on the bag is on the side and to open on the top and to the bottom. It is difficult to empty the bag and the leaves and dust is in to your face. Also if the bag plastic assembly is plugged and an person needs to removed the bag the vacuum pipe is necessary first and then remove the bag.

Rated 1 out of 5??by Ken27 Burned out switch in just over 1 year
I really liked the variable speed of this blower but now that the switch is burned out and I can't get a replacement I won't be buying another Toro. When I did a search regarding the switch I found it has been a common problem in the past.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Donna7 Bag needs improvement!
I bought this to vacuum leaves and bought a second one for my brother in law. During its first use, my brother-in-law's canvas bag started to rip where it is attached to the plastic connector. But our big question is: why did Toro put the zipper on the side of the canvas mulch bag instead of the bottom? When holding the canvas bag full of mulch over a paper leaf bag, having the zipper on the side makes it difficult to empty. We have to reach into the canvas bag and ladle out the leaves by hand bit by bit into the paper leaf bag which raises dust and is hard to do when you're trying to keep the paper leaf bag from collapsing at the same time. It would be so much easier to empty the mulch if the zipper were on the bottom of the canvas bag instead of side!
