Rated 1 out of 5??by steamshovel 30inch mower is horrible
I mowed 30 times and been in the shop 3 times. Currently in shop now for 4th time. I contacted TORO and took it in and 2 weeks later nothing is done. I been asking them to swap it out or prefer buy it back so I can buy a quality Honda. This machine is cheap and junk from the start. My 1st one did not start when i got home. I took it back and got my current one and motor constantly turns off at random during mowing (not because it's struggling). Bagging is bad also. mulching is so so. The machine clogs like no other mower I have ever used. I would stay away from ALL toro products and go to those more reliable like Honda, Stihl etc... I hope Toro will contact me to buy it back back. As I wrote last line toro rep just called, said only going to do a "repair"...4th repair now!!!! We will see... Next step is small claims court if this repair does not hold.
DO NOT BUY TORO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5??by okielawnboy Good concept, poor execution
I have had this machine for about 16 months now. Have had to replace three deck belts, SIX blade idler pulleys, and the entire frame that the engine and deck mount to. The best thing about this machine is the Kawasaki engine. Tires wear way too fast. No power to climb slopes. Really disappointed in Toro's performance here.

Rated 3 out of 5??by Darryl Good mower but would be better if.
This mower would be best if the front wheels were swivel. If you don't have any tight corners or lots of trees to mow around, I could see this mower being a great product. But again, it would be better if the front wheel had the option to be swivel.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Roboto42 you get what you pay for
Definitely seems like a quality product after a month of running this machine (26 yards a week appx). This is perfect for my midsize yards, and we use it on small yards that we can fit it in and bang out in 10-15 mins since we are short on time as this is a second job. No problems yet, though I hear the transmissions lose power and such. I'll definitely be keeping a good eye on maintenance. Starts on the first pull almost every time, plenty of power, bags dry grass perfectly, go slower on thick/wet grass. This thing pulls me up hills like crazy now, but I'm sure there will be a loss of power. One con: weight! this thing is so massive, I guess it's unavoidable with the 2 blades and quality engine on it... hopefully this doesn't to the wheels in too quick, but it sure can be tiring. I'd say it's worth the hassle hauling around though, cuts more and at higher quality than most walk behinds and with a smaller footprint.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Elawns NICE MOWER
The Toro Turf Master is a nice mower compared to using a 21??? mower. It takes a little getting used to due the size and weight of the machine. One person can???t put this mower in the back of a pick-up by themselves. The cut is nice and the time from beginning to end is reduced. If not set correctly, the drive transmission is difficult to move on a slight slope. But overall this is a very nice mower.

Rated 2 out of 5??by gsoto cuts mow time down
the mower is overated! started easy, handle bar sets to low( this was made for short mexican's) I'm a 5'9" Mexican but this was just not made for average size height person. does not go up a small slope i have to literally push it up because it is little tracton going up but it did save a lot of mowing time on approximate 13695 sq ft of my property

Rated 5 out of 5??by Eirikur Good commercial product
I have been using the turfmaster for a week now and I am very happy with this machine. I have not encountered any problems going up hills as other reviewers have stated. Machine does tend to slide mowing hills sideways. The engine runs smoothly and very happy with speed of cut. The wheel height is very easy to adjust and especially happy with this feature. I am 6'5" so was also very happy to discover the handle bar is adjustable!
