The engine, transmission, and cooling system can be easily reached by snapping off a few panels and removing shrouds. The deck spindles can be greased without having to remove deck covers. Quickly access the deck belt areas and belt spindles by removing the easy-off covers. Also, the Triflex cutting unit flips up for convenient servicing.
The 580-D comes standard with Automated Control Electronics. An electronic diagnostics system increases reliability, functionality, and serviceability. The hand-held diagnostic tool aids service technicians in pinpointing problems. Rather than guessing the location of trouble spots, or spending unproductive time searching for problems, this tool allows the service technician to easily determine causes.
