That is why premium extended life engines have been carefully selected to best match the characteristics of the rugged TITAN Z allowing it to achive optimal performance every day of its long life.

Hydro Gear ZT2800 Hydrostatic Drive System

The new ZT2800 hydrostatic transmission has a higher load capacity than the previous design; an internal, maintenance-free brake; a guarded, spin-on filter and significantly easier to maintain versus a wheel pump and motor system. Plus, the ZT2800 also has fewer leak points by design so homeowners can be confident their machines drive system is virtually bullet proof.

Fully Welded Steel Deck with Anti-Scalp Wheels

Toros new 3-blade fully welded 10-gauge steel decks are designed with durability and longevity in mind. Each deck is precision welded and has an 18,000 fpm* blade tip speed that delivers an unparallel quality of cut. The 4” deck includes a 1”high x .25” thick steel reinforcement strip along the front edge of the deck to ensure it will deliver years of exceptional cutting performance.

2" x 2" Tubular Steel Frame

The TITAN Z is all about durability and performance and at the heart of this aggressive new design is the tubular frame. The 2" x 2" tubular steel frame is 1/2" wider than most competitive units in its class and is designed to be Toro's most durable homeowner Z ever. When its all said and done, the TITAN Z is a tough machine to beat.

Foot Operated Height of Cut Adjustment

Allows the operator to easily lift the deck to change the minimum cut level or quickly raise the deck during operation to avoid scalping in uneven terrain.

Hydraulically Dampened Control Levers

Ergonomically positioned hydraulic dampers provide smooth drive engagement, eliminating jerky operation and sudden stops versus spring return designs, which have severe starts and stops. When in reverse, just release the sticks and they will go back to neutral. Arm fatigue is greatly reduced by eliminating the spring return, creating cruise control for your Z.

20" Rear Tires

The large, 20" diameter 4-ply rear tires on all TITAN Z models deliver better traction and a smoother ride in uneven terrain.

Comfort Seating System

The typical TITAN Z owner cuts more grass in each mowing session, which makes operator comfort a necessity. The TITAN Z comfort seating system soaks-up bumps and delivers a smoother ride over the long-haul. When the three spring absorption system is combined with the 18" high back seat and adjustable armrests, you've got the most comfortable zero turn mower in its class.

Durable Engine Compartment

The TITAN Z rear engine compartment is stylish and highly functional. The guard is manufactured from cast aluminum and protects the engine from damage while mowing or when the unit is in storage.

Maintenance Free Caster Wheel Assembly

Get on and go! The caster wheel yoke and spindle are designed to be a heavy-duty maintenance free system. The caster wheel assembly incorporates sealed bearings, which provide longer life and smooth rotation regardless of the terrain.

Deck Washout Port

Provides an easy and convenient way to clean the bottom of the deck to maximize airflow and create a superior quality of cut.

Smooth Caster Wheels

Deliver less grip and more slip to nimbly maneuver around landscaping, trees and other obstacles. The 10" caster tire is pneumatic and the axle has a greaseable roller bearing assembly. Pros know smooth tires reduce turf tear and they come standard on all the TITAN Z models.

Twin Bagger

The new non-powered twin bagger cleans up grass clippings, leaves and other debris to give your lawn a crisp, clean look.

Mulch Kit

The aerodynamic blade lifts the grass upwards where it is sheared off cleanly. The clippings circulate repeatedly and are re-cut before being released from the deck to provide rich nutrients for your lawn.

Light Kit

The optional light kit gives homeowners the option to mow their grass in low light conditions.
