Testimonials for the ProCore® 648

"I finished aerifying greens yesterday for the first time with Toro's new ProCore 648.  I wanted to take a minute to applaud the folks at Toro on an incredible piece of equipment.  20 greens here at Belmont used to take us 11-12 hours.  We started yesterday at 6:00 am and finished at 12:15!  The machine is awesome.  50% wider than the old greens aerifier and much faster, all the while punching a cleaner hole with a better pattern.  Clean-up was much easier as the tires did not mash the plugs into the green.  It made for a very smooth aerification."

"The new Titan tines are fantastic as well.  Only one entire swap out of tines per machine, where it used to take 2-3 tine changes.  Definitely worth the money for the tines."

"Toro has again proved to lead the way in developing new and better technology that allows us to do our jobs better."
Steven F Harris Golf Course Superintendent
Belmont Country Club, Ashburn, Virginia, USA

"We have undulating greens here at Midland Hills, so the contour-following properties of the ProCore® 648 will be a real benefit. We have an old, classic-style Seth Raynor design so most of our greens fall off real quickly on the back and sides. A machine that's capable of turning rather sharp and going right up to the edge is great."
Scott Austin, CGCS Golf Course Superintendent
Midland Hills Golf Club, St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

"We tried the ProCore® 648 aerator with some different hole patterns, different depths and also on some different greens, Bentgrass as well as Bermudagrass. We were very pleased with it. We were able to pull a good core with a symmetrical hole, from the tightest spacing all the way to the longest and it did an excellent job all the way through. Productivity also seems to be really good on the unit."
Mark Langner, CGCS, Director of Agronomy and Applied Research
FarmLinks Research and Education Golf Course, Fayetteville, Alabama, USA

Having the wheels inside the coring head is just wonderful and one of the best things that has ever been done. For somebody with push-up greens that they harvest cores from, having those wheels inside the coring head is essential so you are not reincorporating the pulled plugs."

Wind Song Farm Golf Club, Independence, Minnesota, USA

"The ProCore® 648 aerator is the real deal. You will be able to pull a full 4-inch core with it and it's always nice to get that extra depth. By placing the wheels ahead of the aeration unit, you can get the whole collar and green aerified right to the edge, which is a big plus."
Jeff Johnson, Golf Course Superintendent
The Minikahda Club, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

"The productivity alone will save a lot of time. I like the way the ProCore® 648 aerator climbs hills and it’s much more maneuverable than others I've used. I like it all the way around."

"Generally, aerifier wheels pack down the cores, making them more difficult to clean up and unsightly afterwards because you can see the tracks. The ProCore® 648 tires don't roll over the cores, so it's easier to clean them up."
Jim Nicol, Golf Course Superintendent
Hazeltine National Golf Club, Chaska, Minnesota, USA

"The more control you have the better. Whether you want tighter spacing, deeper depth, not so deep depth, whatever it might be, it's nice to have a versatile machine. The ProCore® 648 aerator seems to pull a nice clean hole with more material than some of the other aerifiers."
Steve Nelson, General Manager
Mississippi Dunes Golf Links, Cottage Grove, Minnesota USA
