Problem:
The coolant system overflow bottle on these products can become over-pressurized in the event of severe engine overheating. This can result in release of the cap and a spray of hot coolant on the operator. We have had six reports of operators who received burns from this release.
What to do:
If you have an affected unit, stop using the mower and contact Toro at 866-946-3109 (U.S. & Canada) to have a free modification kit sent directly to you. Most people should be able to install this kit on their own. If you are not able to effect this modification yourself, you may contact any Toro Dealer to have it installed for you at no charge.
