With 121 horsepower and the Toro-exclusive planetary gear reduction trencher drive technology, the RT1200 delivers maximum power and productivity to make short work of long runs through the most demanding conditions.
Load control option allows the operator to control the percentage of engine output dedicated to ground drive to ensure the performance of digging implement is maintained as ground conditions change.
Standard four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, with the option to automatically transition to crab or coordinated steering, makes the RT1200 easy to handle.
Inline hydrostatic ground and attachment drive system provide optimal performance for trenching and plowing.
The tool carrier chassis design allows machines to be converted from tracks or tires, and the ability to change and add attachments as needed: trencher, rock saw, backhoe, vibratory plow, reel carrier, counter weights and backfill blade.
Six-way, heavy-duty backfill blade operated by a single control lever. Float position allows blade to smoothly follow the ground’s contours.
Standard tilt frame allows the operator to tilt the machine by variable degrees in order to maintain trench angle as the surface terrain changes.
Powered by a Cummins® QSB4.5L, 121 hp 4-cylinder, liquid cooled, diesel engine - trusted for its power, reliability, and lifespan.
Open-design operator platform and high-back pivoting suspension seat with lumbar support and multiple adjustments provides comfort and visibility for all-day productivity.
Ergonomic traction, backfill and attachment control levers mounted to the operator's seat maintain productivity while the seat is rotated. Full color, easy-to-read LCD display allows operator to monitor and respond to machine performance information.
The sliding offset attachment allows the trencher to start in the center of the machine, and move a total of 32” on the slider track to the right, and at its furthest offset point the center of the trencher chain ends up just inside of the right rear tire.
The innovative combo mount system can potentially minimize downtime by allowing both a trencher and a plow to be mounted to the back of the machine, eliminating the need to change attachments depending on installation requirements. The RT1200 combo utilizes the HD trencher drive and the versatile P105 plow with blade attitude adjustment. The utilization of the combo mount means that the operator can achieve increased versatility by adding an attachment without sacrificing performance.
Optional P105 Vibratory Plow capable of installing pipe or wire up to 36" deep. A fully steerable plow with a swing angle range of 30-degrees provides the operator with excellent maneuverability, and the variable plow blade attitude adjustment allows the operator to change the blade pitch on the fly.
Optional heavy-duty backhoe, with a digging force of 7,100 lbs, a reach up to 16'6", and a dig depth of 9'3", makes digging fast and efficient. True over-center backhoe design ensures machine stability while in transport mode.
This pressurized cab will virtually eliminate dust and debris from entering the operator’s station in addition to reducing noise from outside the cab, to help minimize operator fatigue.
