Proud to be the official supplier of irrigation systems and turf equipment for the 2023 Solheim Cup.

Since 1990, the Solheim Cup has combined the tradition and prestige of the game of golf with passion for one’s country and continent. Spain will host the Solheim Cup for the first time in the tournament’s history in 2023 at the world-renowned Finca Cortesin.

“It’s an honour to be selected as the official equipment and irrigation partner for the 2023 Solheim Cup, and we’re thrilled to be continuing our relationship with Finca Cortesin,” said Rick Olson, chairman and CEO of Toro. “As an official supplier for the Solheim Cup in Spain and the Ryder Cup in Rome, we are excited to have the opportunity to support back-to-back team events that showcase the top professionals in both men’s and women’s golf in Europe and the United States.”

Preparing a golf course for an international tournament is a delicate balancing act.

As a GEO-certified course, sustainable irrigation is critical to Finca Cortesin Golf Club as they prep for the 2023 Solheim Cup. With the help of Toro irrigation systems, recycled water is used throughout the course to maintain the bermuda grass and level up the greens.

The Solheim Cup tees off in September, but if head greenkeeper Ignacio Soto had it his way, it would tee off tomorrow. "We're ready," Soto says. "The course is in great condition right now."
